Shipping policy
At My Happy Reef, we prioritize the health and safety of your corals during transit. We’re reef hobbyists ourselves, so we ship each order with the same care and attention we give our own collections.
Shipping Days
We ship orders Monday through Thursday via UPS Next Day Air ✈️, with delivery by 12 PM the next day.
This helps avoid weekend delays and ensures your corals arrive in the best possible condition.
Delivery & Handling
Please ensure someone is home to receive the package.
Do not leave the package outside - especially in direct sunlight or freezing temperatures. Coral health can be compromised if boxes are left exposed.

Packaging
All corals are shipped in insulated styrofoam boxes with temperature-controlled packs (heat or cold as needed). Each coral is securely bagged and cushioned to minimize stress during transit.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy
We stand behind the quality of our packing and livestock. In the rare case of DOA, please follow these steps:
- You must be present for the first delivery attempt.
- In case of DOA, send clear photos of the coral in the sealed bag within 2 hours of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
- Photos must show the coral in its original, unopened bag.
- DOA claims submitted after 2 hours or without proper documentation will not be accepted.
- If approved, you will receive store credit for the coral (excluding shipping costs). No refunds will be issued.
- DOA coverage does not apply if the delay is caused by the shipping carrier, weather conditions, or if the package is left unattended.
